Excellent and efficient staff, especially the receptionists. Comfy bed in the standard double room. Climate control and facilities for making tea in the room. Excellent food offered at the hotel restaurant. 

Great value for a room with charming curtains. The air conditioner and iron made my 3-night stay super comfy. 😊

The rooms are stunning and the English breakfast offered has plenty of dishes. It has marvellous and fab location, next to Southend-on-Sea and the sea front in the conservation area. Further, there's Adventure Island relatively close 

We stayed in a family room that was of excellent quality and had air conditioning.

The location was good and absolutely perfect, 5 km to London Southend airport, perfectly reachable. There were the main shopping centre and a shopping centre around the hotel.

This place is spotless and has a stylish, contemporary look, and their continental breakfast is good enough for me; I enjoyed my stay in a superior twin room that came with tea/coffee amenities and an iron.

The food here is fantastic, the location is lovely, and the standard double room has a nice interior design, but there may not be monitoring of the area.

The service was attentive, totally satisfied. The room had wet wipes down the sides of the bed, so clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. It was available with a travel cot, milk, plus a great view. The breakfast was

Tasteful hotel with ocean views of the beach. Lovely and fantastic staff. Great location, short walk to the amusements, town, Southend High St, seafront. 15 minutes walk to New Empire Theatre.

The building and rooms are beautiful and stylish, and the location is great with easy access to the theater, attentive services, and a comfortable bed.

We ate at a particularly good restaurant for dinner.

The breakfast here was delicious with fresh toast and a new toaster, and they made us fresh scrambled eggs exactly how we wanted them.
